About Me
Hey there! I’m Andrew Hanson, and I solve operational problems for a living.
I hold a Master of Business Administration in Management Science, which gave me the analytical framework to break down complex systems, spot where they break down, and build the fix. I pair that with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design — a combination that sounds unrelated until you realize both disciplines are really about the same thing: taking something messy and making it clear. Design taught me to think in systems and communicate visually; my MBA taught me to think in metrics and communicate strategically. Operations is where those two things meet.
My strengths are the kind that show up in the details: identifying inefficiencies before they become expensive problems, building rollout plans that actually get adopted, testing and refining workflows, and writing documentation that turns “how we happen to do it” into “how we consistently do it well.” I’m comfortable working across functions and translating between technical, operational, and client-facing perspectives — a skill I sharpened early through hands-on client work.
I’m at my best in the space between “this isn’t working” and “here’s the fix.” If you need someone who can spot inefficiency, design a better system, and get a team to actually follow it, that’s the work I want to be doing.
